I travelled to Cologne, Germany earlier in 2017 to present at the World Business Dialogue for the first time. Our multi-disciplinary and very international team (representing Singapore, Japan, India, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, USA) spent 12 weeks exploring how the University of Cologne can attract an increasing number of international postgraduate students and researchers.
Duration : 12 weeks

Problem Statement
The goal of this project was for University of Cologne to be able to attract the best international postgraduate students for their many world-renowned course offerings.
Our biggest takeaway was that the perceptions around language barrier, carrier opportunities after graduation, not being able to explore campus before making the decision etc were persistent and needed to be addressed for the University of Cologne to able to successfully meet this goal.
The Experience
It was an incredible opportunity to work in such a wonderfully diverse team of talent. My favorite part being the interdisciplinary nature representing our backgrounds in marketing, engineering, psychology, public policy and user experience (me!).  It was such an interesting mix of different skill sets and I learnt so much in the course of just 12 weeks!
We had the opportunity to present not only to our clients in a closed-door-board meeting but also, to present to all the delegates on the stage shared by so many accomplished speakers who spoke before us over the course of the conference! This opportunity was both thrilling and nerve-wracking!

I'd love to talk more about this journey in person!
